Daylight Association was established in 2006 by a dynamic young group consisted of lawyers, doctors, housewives, students, journalists, businessmen, teachers on purpose of raising the consciousness and practice of european awareness, gender equality, active youth participation, human rights, education, culture and social development. We work in a co-operative spirit with other organizations, individuals in Turkey, thoughout internationally, who share these aims. We have very experienced voluntary full-time and part time members of staff in the field of European Voluntary Service. And our association is already accredited for EVS.
In pursuit of our general aims, we have carried out lots of succesfull deeds and activities. We are working in cooperation of Batman Youth and Culture House. We offer various activities to especially disadvantaged youngsters. This facilities include the active youth involvement in community, youth information and education, youth poitics, indoor and outdoor activities: tennis, voleyball, mountaineering, climbing, fitness center; music instruments: guitar, baglama, flute, saz, piano; cultural and art activities, modern dances, Computer, English, Literature, Painting, Phototaking courses and reading books in our own library etc. We promote these youngster to learn and improve their personal skills thanks to the facilities mentioned above. We promote the projects in Youth in Action and EVS by ensuring them a great atmosphere to create themselves as they wish. We aim to improve the capacity of young people by participating courses,preparing projects,taking active role in different social and cultural activities,and provide youth to take active role in desicion making process,to take part in the national and international youth programs,to rise youth’s participation in employment and enable them productive. Furhermore, we organise EVS individual or group sending and hosting projects for youth pto do EVS, participate in forums, seminars, training courses, youth exchanges and conferences all over Turkey and Europe.
