Governorship Of Adana EU and Foreign Affairs Office

Adana is located in east-south of Turkey and has more than 2 million populations.There are 15 municipalities affiliated the Adana Governorship ,4 of them are Central District, the others are in rural.
Adana Governorship is the executive head of the provincial administration. Adana Governorship and
it’s Directorates are obliged to provide and control citizen-oriented, compliant, efficient public services in accordance with the determined national policies and regulations in provincial. Adana Governorship has 239 personnel including 5 provincial directors, 3 branch managers, 11 chiefs, 3 engineers, 2 programmers, 1 lawyer, 11 technicians, 6 researchers, 2 experts, 7 computer operators and so on. There are many Ministry Provincial Directorates for health, youth,security, agriculture, employment service, immigration,school education and adult training etc. in province. All works about public service are controlled by governorship to supply effective and fast public services besides as local governor our organization, can plan and organize some projects and works appropriate to the needs of the province and it can execute all project and work by way of its affiliated directorates and organizations. All employees in public services have knowledge, talent, expertise and level of education related to their own works and services.
EU and Foreign Affairs Office is affiliated organization of Adana Governorship and it was established in 2010 to support all organization about the adaptation works of EU in EU candidate period of Turkey at local level.The responsibilities of EU and Foreign Affairs Office are to build the capacity in accordance with the EU acquits and the plans of national development, to supply technical and administrative assistance, to organize the trainings about all needs of province, to write and execute projects about the subjects which Adana Governorship needs .
The Office can apply to EU Grant Programmes and National Programmes and carry out the projects in cooperation with all affiliated Directorates about security, health, agriculture, training, education etc. on behalf of the Governor of Adana if needed at provincial level.
The Office work and carry out projects with affiliated public organizations about social, cultural values, education and adult training programmes as a security, healthy, agriculture, sustainable development, environment, consumers etc. in cooperation.
