Global Education Derby

The organisation was set up in 1991 to work towards a safer, greener, fairer world.
Over the last 25 years we have run projects that have changed the lives of thousands of young people for the better by helping them develop a new outlook and a set of new skills that underpin emotional wellbeing and improve employability. We have helped them become active in social change creating supportive communities that reject xenophobia.
We have worked through the formal education system, providing teacher training and whole school input to develop core skills such as critical thinking, global citizenship, communication, collaboration, and student leadership. We have worked in the youth sector providing professional training to youth workers but also direct face-to-face youth work promoting empowerment and youth voice.
