Global Confederation of Romanian Students

Global Confederation of Romanian Students is a Swedish non-profit, non-political youth organization formally established in 2014 in Sweden. Global Confederation of Romanian Students facilitates domestic and international projects that utilize non-formal education to develop socially conscious and action-oriented to a community of young pupils and students.

The mission of Global Confederation of Romanian Students is to support the progress of communities in all fields.

Its priorities are:

- to support the community of young people and students;
- to develop activities within this community;
- to provide a representative ambience for organization at a Global level of this community;
- to promote a dialogue with civil society and public institutions for a better understanding of the needs of this community;
- to promote this students’ community at an international level;
- to defend and promote the rights and interests of any nature of its members, who do not contravene the laws and moral behavior;
- to identify specific problems of this community and the involvement in solving them;
- to inform the members of this community on the opportunities of taking part in economic, political and social life;
- to recognize the students’ and pupils’ qualities and abilities within this community;
- to initiate partnerships with different institutions both private and governmental, in achieving the objectives of the Association, including to provide scholarships, summer schools, camps, trips, recreational or thematic weekends for G.C.R.S. community members ,including the achievement of an educational-cultural-documentary TV channel, located in Sweden, which currently is online, having as objective to receive a Swedish license in order to facilitate the transmission of audiovisual by satellite and terrestrial communications networks;
- to develop cooperation with student organizations, regardless of their home country, which contribute to the development of this community;
