Global Batwa Outreach

Founded in 2008, Global Batwa Outreach is a nonprofit that has been supporting new narratives and projects that shift old paradigms and change hearts and minds. We’ve been supporting communities and their people to forge new power, implement emergent ideas and pursue just causes.
We are tackling the biggest challenges facing us today for the decades ahead. In order to create impact we employ a hybrid strategy that gives out tools and resources with a charitable spirit but with an entrepreneurial set up in order to maximize impact and create sustainability.
Our team is driven by a will to do good, with a wide set of skills necessary for growth, scaling and transparency. We are currently governed by a 7 member Board, 11 management staff and we currently employ 30 people across our project.
Our Team is currently led by Rev Fr Ignatius Arinaitwe, a catholic priest who has dedicated his life to helping the poor and their communities. We strive to build more equitable & inclusive communities .
Global Batwa Outreach re-imagines critical solutions and ideas to societies’ pressing needs, breaking the chains of poverty and building more inclusive and equitable communities for the benefit of many. We work with the Ugandan Batwa minority tribe, children, refugees, women and other vulnerable populations. We’re audacious in our commitment to improving the lives we work with, as thus we use a holistic approach in our work.
