GETICA, "Informal Group of the European Active Citizens"

GETICA founders are students at the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Political Science - English section. However, our members are girls and boys having studies or interests comprising mainly the social domain, and ages between 14 and 28 years, including several excellent pupils, prized at the county or national Olympiads.
The name GETICA is a tribute to our ancestors, Gaete people, revealing our goals in the same time, being the Romanian acronym for "Group of the European Active Citizens Youth". We have strong reasons and motivation to support the strengthening of Romanian Civil Society, and the will to learn from other colleagues and European people, through cooperation and mobility.
