Fundação Alentejo

Alentejo Foundation is a non-profit privately funded Foundation created in 1999 and it has, nowadays, the status of IPSS - Private Institution of Social Solidarity / NGO and a NGDO.
Fundação Alentejo has a Headquarter in Évora, Alentejo, Portugal and is focused in development and qualification of Human Resources. The main instrument to achieve this goal is her Vocational School: EPRAL - Profissional School of Alentejo Region.
We also work in the Long Life Learning area providing training in several areas, qualifying and recycling the skills of the workforce of this region of Portugal.
The College of Fundação Alentejo, is one of the responses to the development of human resources in our area of intervention with nursery and Kindergarten.
Our vision and desire is to promote improved quality of life in Alentejo, by integrating qualified skills in the regional labor market contributing this way to the sustainable development of Alentejo.
As a strategy we create mechanisms to the different needs / target audiences, based on organizational and innovative pedagogical models, related to regional reality; we also have established a network of active partnerships with the business community and institutions, to promote a practical training in a real work environment and development projects.
It has also been our practice developing a benchmarking policy in the Iberian Peninsula and Europe, in the most relevant intervention areas with the use of visits and / or development of cooperation projects within the framework of European Programs (Petra, Lingua, EUROFORM, and Leonardo da Vinci).
