FUNDACJA "SZPILKA"/ "PIN" FOUNDATION

Our pojects are designed not only to raise knowledge about art and history of art. Different artistic techniques and methods we work with are a kind of threshold to boost ones creativity and potential, to discover ones emotions and boundaries, to raise self-awareness and self-esteem, to fight against stereotypes. We want to build a community of wise, conscious persons. Some of our projects include: a series of workshops "Woman and Art" (i.e. "Looking for a Perfect Cherry Blossom" during which we created illustrations to haiku poems using decoupage technique); or "Dress Yourself in a City", during which every participant created her own piece of clothing using screen printing (whith photos of the city). We also cooperate with Polish internationally awarded artists.
So far we have managed 11 artistic and cultural projects with ca. 2000 participants, ca. 30 lectures, 10 sightseeing walks, and numerous meetings.
