Fundacja Q

Fundacja Q was established in August 2017 and since very beginning its main goal was to create space for social integration of Polish non-heteronormative people with the rest of society. We pay special attention to youth and queer people with disabilities. Positives not negatives and resources over deficits - it has become our motto that we follow during our activities.

Our activities are related to three areas:

Our activities cover:
- preservation of the historical heritage of the Polish LGBTQIA community - we own small archive,
-propagating historical knowledge about Polish queer community among youth,
- health protection and promotion, including sex education,
- events that integrate Polish society and educate them about the social diversity.

Our archive owns more than 4000 pages from different magazines and journals, 100 posters, 50 different kinds of photos and 300-400 leaflets, zines and other individual pieces of paper. We owe 20 oral history recordings, and we are currently working our way through a list of queer activists. Right now, we have 100 people who could give us an interview about their engagement.
