FUNDACION BARUCA

In 2007 Fundación Baruca arise from the will of the founding social entities to provide people with reduced mobility vacation services and leisure activities and free time in natural environments.

For the team working on the project, Baruca is the exciting Union of dreams, experiences, efforts and resources to improve the lives of people with disabilities. Both leisure and tourism are considered factors of social integration, assuming an innovative social right.

As a result, Caserón Baruca appears, accessible apartments in the Pineta Valley. An equipment consisting of ten apartments and two common rooms, Barucoteca and Baruca Zen.

Located in a privileged environment in the Aragonese Pyrenees, it is addressed to all people who want to know the Sobrarbe region and especially those who have problems when doing leisure activities and free time normalized by the lack of areas adapted to their possibilities.

Fundación Ramón Rey Ardid (FRRA) is a founding entity of Baruca and a close collaborator, this has more than 20 years of experience in management of European co-funded by European programs such as: Horizon, Equal, Pegasus, Acre, Smart, Leonardo, Grundtvig, Youth in Action, Erasmus +, Creative Europe, etc.

Fundación Ramón Rey Ardid is a non-profit organization that was created in 1991 to attend the need of people affected by mental illness. After more than 25 years of experience our organization has grown and increased its social presence, by working with other collectives at risk of exclusion (elderly, migrants, young people in difficulty, etc.).

The main goals are to achieve full social integration, to cover their basic needs and to improve both their quality of life and their relatives.
