FOREM's mission is to promote the skills of workers in our country, through training and guidance, to contribute to their personal and professional development.
Our main target group are workers, both employed and unemployed. Especially those with special needs to be inserted in the labour market and those with fewer opportunities: young people, women, people with disabilities, people older than 45 years and unqualified workers, migrants, minorities…
We have 25 years experience as VET providers. During these years, we have trained and guidance thousands of workers and developed many different projects at national and European level, mainly related VET and vocational guidance: detection of training and skills needs, development of training materials, guidance methodologies…
As we belong to the main trade union in Spain, we are very close to the workers and companies needs.
Our objectives are:
• Promote the study and research on vocational training and employment.
• Identify training and skills needs of workers in our country.
• Promote actions of career information and guidance.
• Contribute to the improvement of working conditions through intervention in lifelong learning.
• Provide vocational training for employed and unemployed workers.
• Develop training methodologies and materials adapted to different learning situations.
• Give priority attention to the guidance and training of people with fewer opportunities.
• Promote equality between women and men.
We want to create a program to support entrepreneurship aimed to migrants and refugees with low literacy skills in their host country language.
