FU International Tenerife

Formación FU Tenerife employees 25 staff including teachers and administrative personnel. It is based in Puerto de la Cruz, in the north of the island and specializes in language teaching, especially “Spanish for Business” and “Spanish for Tourism and Administration”, and the organisation of vocational training internships as well as the realization of mobility projects.

Since 2004 the FU International Academy has it’s own online marketing department working as agency specialized in educational marketing with international clients and own website projects. In 2010 the school began to offer online marketing training courses under the brand name “SEOintheSUN”.

The academy offers a language course that specifically prepares the students for the internship placements in Tenerife. It prepares future interns with all the relevant language and skills needed to take up their duties in real work life. The internship scheme, under the management of Frank Sellingsloh, the MD of the company, has been running since the year 2003 and the F+U Group in Germany, in conjunction with former EU Leonardo da Vinci Mobility Projects, has been successfully sending trainees to the Canary Islands.

For the Online Marketing project, their combination of daily seminars, two workshops and 30 hours a week on-the-job training has proven very successful over the years. From one day to the next you can see results. At every stage students are guided by fully trained professional Online Marketers who have to satisfy their own clients and prove they are doing an effective job in this highly competitive market.
Students are given the opportunity to learn from them what it has taken them years to discover and they constantly update their knowledge and teaching material.

The work of all participants is carefully monitored throughout their placement and progress and problems noted and recorded. They also look after the personal welfare of all participants for the duration of their internship in Tenerife.

In conclusion it can be stated that the Formación FU has more than 12 year of experience as an Host organisation relevant in the field of international mobility projects. The many years of expertise ideally qualifies the Formacion FU as a Partner in the present paper.
