Francas

The national federation of the Francas is a federation of popular national education created in 1944. The objective of the action of the Francas is the human man and his happiness, his well-being and his participation.
His first reasons for claiming and mobilizing is to make man and citizen as free as possible in the most democratic and fraternal society possible.
Its associative objects, their fields of privileged intervention, is education and educational action in the free time of children and adolescents.
The Francas affirm the values of humanism, freedom, equality, secularism and peace.
The regional union of the Francas of the Occitan is a member of the National Federation of the Francas.
It brings together all the Francas Departmental Associations located in the Occitania region with the aim of cooperation and to guarantee the implementation of the project in all the departments.
Thus, for several years now, with the aim of promoting an education that allows us to understand and act on the world, the Regional Union has had a regional representative who leads the network of member structures in the region around the theme of "Europe, mobility and citizenship of young people".
