Formatus - AFIIP

FORMATUS was funded in the 9th November of 2006 in Portalegre, Portugal, is a non‐profit local organization created by a team of people in various areas. Our team is working with unemployed people, children and youth with fewer resources. Formatus with the cooperation of several organizations of our city manage to open a Center to support children and youth with fewer opportunities called “The Universe of Opportunities”. In this center children and youth can be helped in the school tasks, have computer training and several workshops of theatre, dancing and sport.
We also want to promote information, advice and support to the youth community and to develop responsibility of citizenship and empowerment of young people.
This work is made through a strong commitment with Formatus and the schools of our region which work together in order to support our youth community.
We also are a receiving, host and sending organization in the EVS projects.
