ForJu supports young researchers, aiming to raise awareness of their challenges in the scientific field. Through strategic collaborations, it provides a platform for young researchers, securing financial support for projects. The association fosters continuous education, spanning various research domains and extending beyond youth work to adult research, vocational education, sports, disabilities, digitalization, and integration.
The target group of ForJu includes youngsters between 14 and 30 years of age with various educational backgrounds. The organization emphasizes creating opportunities for participants at different levels of education to learn from each other, as well as encouraging further cooperation that benefits all participants. ForJu makes sure special offers are available for the respective age groups while simultaneously supporting networking and common experiences through which every participant can share in the knowledge of the participants.
ForJu has an number of over 15 professionals in various fields such as social scientists, social media experts, software specialists, engineers, teachers, project managers, and surely youth workers. In addition, for different fields all over Austria, especially in Vienna, ForJu is further backed up by more than 50 volunteer members. Most of the members and volunteers of ForJu have already been involved with several local projects/initiatives and are committed to further pursuing their professional career in those respective fields, including the activities about inclusion.
With a wide network both in Austria and locally in Vienna, ForJu aims to raise awareness and empower young people by involving them in education and activities based on sustainable development tools. ForJu currently runs projects in different areas such as "university support", "panel discussions", "networking events", "science blog", "school workshops", "diploma-thesis platform", "podcast", "seminars".
