The main idea on which Fondazione Teatro Goldoni is founded is to promote performing arts and theatre acitivities in the town and to become more and more a theatre of the territory: active and lively.

Fondazione Teatro Goldoni develops a cultural policy in which shows and performances, theatre Seasons and produciotns, are only part of a longer and more important process towards active involvement of citizens and audience.
In this direction, Fondazione Teatro Goldoni proposes and supports cultural projetcs in the schools, theatre stages for students and young artists; special attention is given to educational opportunities for the new generation of artists.
All projects supported by Fondazione are in the name of quality and multidisciplinarity.
Fondazione works with many different institutions on regional, national and international level. It created a relevant network of cultural organizations in Livorno and in the province.
Progetto Stagioni is not only a theatre season but a means to partecipate in the social life of the town, a cultural offer addressed to different targets and meant to develop dialogue and interaction.

2013 _ THE ROLE OF TEATHRE
Fondazione Teatro Goldoni assumed an active role in the town in order to promote the awareness of art activities and heritage. Objectives of Fondazione are both cultural and social (education, training events, projects with schools and organizations).
The strategy of 2013 is meant to reinforce cultural networks and synergys with local, national and internationla partners and interested in a long – term planning.
Among the most significant projetcs:
cultural projects with the schools, social projects with disadvantaged groups, art projects for children and families, theatre productions, concerts, exhibitions and stages/workshops for actors and not professional actors.
