Since 1902, FAM has welcomed women with children and unaccompanied minors who are victims of violence. Founded by Ersilia Bronzini Majno to support girls at risk of social exclusion, today it is a non-profit foundation providing educational, social, and employment support to women, children, and minors in care of social services. The Foundation hosts people from over 20 countries worldwide, offering protection, training, and autonomy pathways. Educational teams accompany guests with attentive emotional and practical support, fostering trauma recovery, self-esteem, personal skill development, and reintegration into independent life in the community.

>Mother–Child Support (30+ years of experience, supporting 50+ women and 100+ children annually) - Milan (MI), Sesto San Giovanni (MI):
• Target: Single mothers with children, women and children in socio-economic vulnerability, mainly migrants

• Target: UAMs, vulnerable youth, young people in or at risk of contact with the juvenile justice system
• Services: Educational communities & semi-autonomous housing (2 communities + 4 housing units; in 2024, 49 youth hosted, 22 new admissions, 21 pathways completed); Work-oriented education laboratory (supporting 18 youth in labour market integration, including 6 from the juvenile justice system)

>From 2026 “Un Porto Nuovo” Expansion Project (Planned expansion to strengthen education, employability, social inclusion, and well-being pathways) - Porto Valtravaglia (VA):
• Target: Vulnerable minors and young adults at risk of social exclusion
• Services: Day centre (14 places); Educational communities (2 communities, 20 places); Vocational laboratories (5 laboratories, 26 places); Sports hub (dedicated facilities for physical activity and social inclusion)

• Target: NEETs, adults, professionals, companies, and vulnerable groups needing upskilling/reskilling
• Services: Education and training for NEETs and vulnerable youth; Upskilling and reskilling programmes for adults and professionals; Tailored capacity-building activities for companies and employers; Work-based learning and employability-oriented pathways in synergy with local labour market actors
