The EYP (www.eyp.org) is a non-partisan and independent educational project which is tailored specifically to the needs of the European young citizen. Today the EYP is one of the largest European platforms for political debate, intercultural encounters, political educational work and the exchange of ideas among young people in Europe. The EYP encourages independent thinking and socio-political initiative in young people and facilitates the learning of crucial social and professional skills. Armenia has become a full member of EYP network in December of 2012 and since then has implemented several projects targeted at awareness raising about the EU and the challenges it currently faces, thus ensuring a total outreach of thousands of Armenian students (http://www.linkedin.com/in/eyparmenia). Yet, the main activity of the EYP network is implementation of the national conferences (EYP sessions) in the format of the European Parliament with the formation of the respective committees to debate on the EU relevant issues resulting in a resolution. Moreover, based on the voting of the jury, 3 to 5 delegates are chosen to participate at the International EYP Session that gathers 500 delegates from all over the Europe, representatives of the EU Commission, European Parliament and other EU institutions. The resolutions adopted at the International EYP Session are then passed to the EU Commission as policy recommendations.
