European Information Technologies Certification Institute (EITCI)

The European Information Technologies Certification Institute, is an international and not for profit organization based in Brussels that certifies IT skills and supports the Digital Agenda for European initiatives.

The Institute consists of multiple academic committees active in different areas of applied ICTs for accrediting programmes, designing quality certifications, and providing technologies for online examinations or other relative procedures incorporated in projects. EITCI is leading in the design and development of innovative, cloud based examination platforms (with Web and Mobile App interface), and in artificial intelligence learning-supporting modules according to project requirements.

Since 2008 EITCI has developed over one hundred of IT certification frameworks and issued approximately 30 thousand of certifications in the EU. Also, it has been implementing multiple EU funded projects with a budget of several million euro, including projects under the scope of European Union eGovernment and eAdministration, eSecurity, eLearning and eSkills.
