Euromed Youth Programme Unit

Euro-Med Youth Programme is a regional program set up in the Euro-Mediterranean region within the framework of the third chapter of the Barcelona Process entitled “Partnership in social, cultural and human affairs”.
Its geographical scope comprises 35 countries: the 27 EU Member States (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom) and 8 Mediterranean partner countries, signatories of the Barcelona Declaration (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Tunisia and Israel).

Nationally, the agreement of Euromed Youth Programme IV was signed between the Palestinian Ministry of Youth and Sport and the European Commission- East Jerusalem on November 2nd 2010. The implementation of Phase IV is expected to occur during the years 2011-2013.
