Eskişehir Valiliği

The EU and Foreign Relations Bureau of Eskişehir Governorship works with the aim to increase awareness of the EU accession period. The office develops and implements multilateral European projects on youth, culture, social inclusion of vulnerable groups, climate change, and other social subjects. Within this context, the Governorship has involved over 80 national and international projects since its establishment. As a governmental organization, it also provides free guidance and counseling services for organizations working on youth, women, and adult education, inclusion, and empowerment of disadvantaged groups. The aim of the Bureau is to increase the number and quality of the EU projects developed in Eskişehir, to share experiences and information in Eskişehir and within other EU member countries.

As EU and Foreign Relations Bureau`, we serve as Eurodesk Information Point and try to give support to raise awareness among young people on learning mobility opportunities and to encourage them to become active citizens. As a support organization to Erasmus+, we make information on learning mobility comprehensive in the local. Besides, it guides and gives consulting services to individuals, organizations, and institutions willing to write projects or already running projects via face-to-face interviews, phone calls, or e-mails.

Eskişehir Governorship has a wide experience in implementing EU projects, especially focusing on youth, prison education, migrants, employment, PWDs, etc. Also, the staff that will work on the project has a great experience, the inclusion of vulnerable groups into society. The Governorship has wide connections with organizations and authorities, at the national and international levels. Experts who will be involved in the Project are also familiar with European policies, strategies, and priorities related to youth and they can contribute to the project in this respect.

Education:
-Organising formal and non-formal educational activities intended for disadvantaged groups such as PWDs, migrants, NEETs, unemployed people and other members of vulnerable groups.
-The Bureau develops and implements innovative “Training Modules” which are intended for building competencies of people from vulnerable groups.
- The Bureau implements trainings for trainers and education professionals for enhancing their potential.
- The Bureau has experienced implementing educational activities in limited access Institutions such as probation centres and penitentiary institutions.
- The Bureau has experienced in developing and implementing sport-related activities.
-The Bureau has organising workshops for developing multi-disciplinary educational content.
