EPRIN, located in the Village of Idanha-a-Nova, and since its foundation in 1993, has contributed and intends to continue contributing to the process of its development as a School aimed at all young people seeking an alternative to the conventional education system.
The vocational courses are an integral part of the genesis of our project. We contribute to a full integration and not to leave students on the path. We receive students from disadvantage backgrounds or students that don’t get well accepted in the regular school for many reasons.
Once at EPRIN, we want all students to feel integrated into a family, the family of EPRIN and feel that with dedication, seriousness and effort your professional success will be guaranteed. In relation to the students who come to us and do their training, this has been the guiding principle: to fight day by day so that it is a school of inclusion, especially of those who show greater difficulties.
Another aspect that we value and which constitutes one of the assets of our project is the connection of the School to the companies that collaborate with us, mainly in the accomplishment of internships, study visits, donation of equipment and partnerships for the formation and certification of our young people, evidenced by the hundreds of protocols celebrated.

EPRIN also maintains close relationships with a wide range of companies and institutions, promoting high quality education. It has a teaching staff characterized by a great dedication, technical-scientific knowledge and in the technical area trainers with proven experience that is based on the exercise of their professional activity in companies and entities outside the school, thus enriching the student’s learning ability.

EPRIN, aims to develop a quality professional education that grants a Level IV Qualification Diploma valid throughout the European Union and a Certificate of Secondary Studies equivalent to the 12th year of Schooling, enabling the continuation of training in the Higher education. This means that EPRIN is not only an asset for its students, it is also the school that guides them and redirects them to professional practice and can be a way to higher education. In the vast majority of cases, our students, thanks to the strong encouragement of teachers and the positive experiences in real work contexts that the course provides them, get the extra motivation needed to become much more interested students and aware of the importance of knowledge, school and study, making them want to continue in higher education.
Throughout the course, students will perceive all the dynamics surrounding the school and all teachers, encountering a humanized education, close and attentive to their needs and, therefore, is not only a school that prepares for the technical and professional world, but for life. It is a school that values rigor, ethical and moral principles, and values the potential of each one.

Our team is very multidisciplinary.
In addition to the staff connected to the School Direction who is totally committed to this project, we can also count on a significant number of teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as the Specialized Technicians who work closely with our Institution and who will play a very important role in the development of the whole project.
They all have language skills in English, as well as people with excellent interpersonal skills.
EPRIN always tries to inspire in its students and professional staff the spirit of inter-help, discipline, responsibility and mutual respect. These reveal a remarkable sense of identification and belonging to the school, showing enthusiasm in all actions or activities that take place in and out of school.
The activities and experience of our key persons aslo involve the support/encouragement of the young students in the development of projects that contribute to shorten the desertification of the region to the big urban centers.
To contribute to the professional orientation of young students, so that they decide more consciously what they truly want for their future in professional terms.
