Erzurum Spor Lisesi

Erzurum Sport High School is the only school that trains its students in whole sport branches and placed in Aziziye district, Erzurum. Our school has started its educational activities within the ministry of education in 2004-2005 educational year. The number present of our school is 389 by 2016-2017.
Primary sport branches that our students training are; athletics, football, volleyball, handball, wrestling, ski, taekwondo, judo, karate, natural luge, boxing, ice hockey and short track. In these branches, our school has raised hundreds of rewarding students for our country and some of these students, getting world championship title, represented both our country and school perfectly.
In addition to the branches above-stated, traditional archery activities has been placed great importance by our teachers and students and every year tens of activities have been held.
As well, we are focusing on:
- To improve the quality of life of children and youth through professional and volunteer
work with promotion healthy ways of life
- To promote informal education, voluntarism, ecology, preventing of unwanted forms of
behaviors (delinquency, drug addiction…) developing of healthy ways of living
- To promote multiculturalism and peace,
- To promote active citizenship, solidarity, tolerance and understanding
