Erasmus Student Network

Erasmus Student Network Tbilisi Universal (ESN Tbilisi UNI/ Georgia office) is non-profit, non commercial organization, which actively works on cultural integration between youth representatives of different religion and nationality. Organization provides assistance for the creation of a more mobile and flexible education, social and cultural environment for the youth representatives by supporting and developing the student exchange programs, and providing an intercultural experience also to those students who cannot access a period abroad. The values of Erasmus Student Network that all members stand out and work for are: “Unity in Diversity, Diversity in the Unity”. All members have different backgrounds, but share one aim and goal. ESN Tbilisi UNI gives priority to culture to foster dialogue, cohesion and citizenship. ESN is a good example that the youth representatives of 37 countries of the Europe from the very different multicultural societies can share one seated goal and cooperate around it.
ESN Tbilisi UNI is a member of the biggest student organizations in Europe, Erasmus Student Network, which operates in more than 424 Higher Education Institutions from 36 countries of Europe and services more than 160.000 international students every year. Erasmus Student Network is a member of the Advisory Council of European Youth Foundation(EYF) which is established in 1972 by the Council of Europe to provide financial support for European youth Activities. ESN Tbilisi UNI represents the needs and rights of international students on the local, national, and international level and provides cultural understanding and self-development, works in the interest of international students and motivates students to study abroad. We think that learning with and from people who represent different cultures and traditions is always useful for the both sides.
ESN Tbilisi UNI offers help in academic, social and practical integration process. This is mainly done through activities in the local sections, which include cultural and social events. Organization also provides relevant information and encourages the future exchange students to gain the international experience and gain relevant insight to different cultures.
