ERASMUS PORTUGUESE YOUTH

Our group consists of volunteers and youth workers wanting to participate in Erasmus+, national and international programmes. We promote active european citizenship by integrating different projects all over Europe, offering a large range of opportunities in several mobilities.
We’ve been taking part in many international youth exchanges, seminars, conferences, summer camps, training courses, outdoor activities, congresses, youth internships, campaigns, sports events, amongst others at a national and international level.
Our participation in all these kind of activities/mobilities/projects/events/initiatives is focused in promoting inclusive youth participation in an intercutlural environment thus fostering multicultural diversity and dialogue.

Our group members are very active in society and with a long time experience in youth field – contributing with volunteer work in many different projects.
The experience of this group mainly comes from our group leader (with a vast curriculum in local, national and international projects) and also from the participants/volunteers/members/etc. that were already involved in various activities/projects/etc.
Some of our members also work with non-formal education in their daily jobs which provides our group with the proper knowledge, expertise, skills and competences.
Some of our group members also count with previous experiences in other projects as trainers, coordinators, facilitators, trainees, tutors and mentors in programmes such as the old Erasmus Programme as well as Lifelong Learning Programme (Leonardo Da Vinci and Grundtvig sub programmes).
Also relevant for this project is the fact that this group has an educational background which can help to understand the reality of volunteering as well as creating and developing positive attitudes and behaviours to encourage personal and professional development. This will increase the project’s visibility and dissemination locally and transnationally.

Our members/volunteers/etc. possess strong skills and expertise mainly related to youth work through the participation in many experiential and non-formal educational contexts.
Amongst our members/volunteers/youth workers/etc. competences, we highlight the following: training/events coordination/management/organisation/etc.; facilitation; tutoring/mentoring (trainees, volunteers, etc.) - in youth work, the old Lifelong Learning Programme including Leonardo Da Vinci sub programme, other European Union programmes/grants/etc. such as Erasmus+ (in many local, national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, amongst others).
Some of our members speak different languages (Portuguese, English, French, Spanish and Italian, to name a few).
