Epave-Escola Profissional do Alto Ave

The Vocational school, EPAVE, is situated in north of Portugal. The area in which the school is located presents a variety of social and economical characteristics and has also developmental problems.
EPAVE revels two decades of experience, within an expanding project to offer an education with quality, based on human, cultural and social values. We work with young and creative teachers and instructors, who are motivated and interested to develop their strategies/skills of teaching.
The school community is build by 250 young students ages tebween 17-19 years old.
To prevent the risk of social exclusion, educational and professional failure, the EPAVE School creates projects and activities for the school community, so the teenagers are able to develop their self-confidence, to respect themselves and to grow as healthy persons, characteristics they wouldn't be able to develop in their normal environment.
