Survivors from the Ice age in the quaternary period, they pierce rocks and break their tops trying to stay alive in the steepest hillsides in the Andalusian mountains. In times of climate change, they make the most of passing clouds to satisfy their thirst and the wind to insure offspring.
As humans, an integral cog in the ecosystem, we feel a responsibility to educate society on the boundless value of this forgotten Andalusian gem. Through our precious actions and hard work we can create; natural balance, forest invigoration and good health.
Fulfill oneself and participate in a volunteering experience in the unique setting of south Spain and learn how to carry out comprehensive management of the different natural resources; always looking for sustainability, improvement and conservation.
If you love nature, come and take part in different activities of forestry use, livestock management and hunting.
Depending on the season; you could experience the supervision of livestock for instance cows and sheep, grasp how to control different hunting species like the Fallow Deer, learn exploitation of the forest resources such as cork and firewood and educate yourself in silviculture of this unique southern Spanish forest.
