With an experience of more than 30 years, EMHES currently has almost 2500 students, a significant number of whom are foreigners.

This plurality of people, studies and nationalities, brought EMHES an inseparable characteristic of multiculturalism.

EMHES is focused in the advancement of knowledge, learning and education of its students, at the service of improving the health conditions of global society in the 21st century.

EMHES owns an elderly residence and two outpatient clinics where students have the possibility to train the application of health and patient care. EMHES has a connection to several universities, both in the country and abroad, companies, hospitals, health centers and social solidarity institutions, which guarantee the easy integration of their students into professional life.

EMHES aims to be a reference educational institution in the training of health professionals, ensuring that they achieve a solid technical and human training. EMHES is also determined to be an institution that, in addition to ensuring its training and research purposes, manages, at the same time, to constitute itself as a pole of social responsibility strongly inserted
in the local community, providing health care to the community, particularly to the most deprived.
