EBY - Empowered by Youth

Association EBY – Empowered by Youth is an initiative group of young people established to fulfill the additional educational and socializing needs of youth. Our group is interested in development of non-formal education and the provision of an international platform. Our aim is to carry out a wide spectrum of activities on the local, national and international level and promote the need for mutual respect, interest and support among foreign countries. We also highlight important global issues that mankind faces and provide a space for solution-seeking activities. Empowered by Youth is situated in Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia.

Areas and listed activities that we carry out are following:

1. Nature protection and sustainable development
- promotion and implementation of youth mobility in order to spread awareness about the global issue
- provision of a platform where gathering information is done on an international level
- organizing activities that will inspire local communities to care about the importance of nature-protection

2. Healthy lifestyle and mental well-being
- addressing youngsters potential issues in the health area and setting prevention steps to decrease the occurrence of health problems
- organization of sports activities that will help youngsters to socialize and create deeper connections with people
- promotion of activities aimed at the development of mental wellbeing practices and a healthy lifestyle

3. Support of tolerance and social responsibility
- providing our target group opportunities to learn about other cultures and increase the level of solidarity, tolerance and cooperation
- promotion of the importance of self-autonomy, soft skills development and effective communication by carrying out theme-related activities
