"Eastern Latvian Centre of creative services"

Oficial name of building is "Eastern Latvian Centre of creative services" that was opened in 01.09.2012. People call it "Zeimuls".Zeimuls from Latgalian means "Pencil". Center is open for youngsters from 13-25. According to regulations of Center is coordinates children and youth hobby education, youth , affairs and non -formal education activities in Rezeknes municipality. Center coordinates work 2 youth centres in city - Youth open center "Jacis" ( it is situated in KR. Valdemāra street 21, Rēzekne) and Youth initiative center "Draugu centrs" ( it is situated in Atbrīvošanas aleja 166, Rēzekne).
Center of creative services offers for children and youth different out of school and workshop – these are 90 different out of school programs like modern and ball dances, vocal and instrumental music , visual arts , ceramics, woodworking ( making things out of wood), sewing, fancyworks, Lego robotics, plasticine animation , draught and chess, activities for parents with babies. Center offers youth non formal education activities – there are modern technologies, multimedia, music, photo workshops, Rezekne city youth council and other youth NGO’s are coming here to realize different youth activities. There are choreography, aerobics, fitness rooms and also 2 nice terraces with great view of the city and castle ruins.
Activities in the Centre take place from Monday until Saturday and are free of charge for children and youth until 25 years. Most activities are supported by state earmarked subsidy and Rezekne municipality.
