We are here for every voice that has been silenced in society. The Dokunma Association was established to protect the rights of women, children, and animals, raise awareness against abuse, and promote gender equality. We envision a world where every individual's right to inviolability—specifically their body, life, and dignity—is deeply respected.

Why Dokunma Association?
So justice is not merely a right; it is a necessity. The Dokunma Association is a solidarity network where individuals, refusing to remain silent in a society where violence, abuse, and inequality have become normalized, come together. We perceive the concept of "touch" (dokunma) not as a boundary or a prohibition, but as a call to action.

Our Mission:
To ensure the protection of women, children, and the elderly from all forms of violence, abuse, and discrimination;
To advocate for gender equality and the rights of women, children, and the elderly through a rights-based perspective;
To promote non-violent communication and a culture of peaceful living;
To make past human rights violations visible and ensure they are not forgotten by generating collective memory;
To support the equal participation of disadvantaged groups in social, economic, and cultural life;
To strengthen the foundations of a non-violent society through education, advocacy, awareness-raising, and solidarity.

Our Vision:
To create a world where women, children, and the elderly live in an equal, free, healthy, and safe society—a world where their rights are protected and empowered, and they can lead lives free from violence. Standing against all forms of violence, the Dokunma Association aims to contribute to the construction of a society centered on gender equality, justice, and human dignity. Furthermore, it seeks to foster a rights-based collective memory where lived experiences are not forgotten and the voices of victims are heard.
