DLRG Ortsgruppe Georgsmarienhütte e.V.

DLRG is a volunteer water rescue organization in Germany. Our local group is active in lifeguard training, water safety education, first aid training and disaster response.

A strong focus of our work is youth development. Young members are trained in swimming, lifesaving techniques, teamwork and leadership through regular training, exercises and real-life operations.

We are interested in international cooperation with organizations working in water rescue, first aid, civil protection or youth work. Through Erasmus+ youth exchanges we would like to organize joint training camps, workshops and practical exercises to share knowledge and strengthen international cooperation in rescue and safety.

Possible topics for cooperation include:

disaster response and civil protection

youth leadership and volunteering

We are open to hosting or participating in international youth exchanges and training activities.
