Disability AID Liberia, Inc. is a Liberia-based non-governmental organisation committed to improving the lives of vulnerable and marginalized groups, with a special focus on women with disabilities, young women’s in Politics and War affected women through Education and empowerment.

Established in 2020, our organisation has been actively working in Grand cape Mount county and Liberia at large to promote social inclusion, equal opportunities, and sustainable development.

Our core mission is to advocate for the rights of Women with disabilities and to support women and young people in overcoming barriers to education, political participation, and economic independence. We believe that empowering these groups not only transforms individual lives but also strengthens communities and fosters inclusive growth.

Key areas of work include:

To provide psychological and mental health support to people with Disabilities mostly Women and children, and to build a Disability-Emergency Fund (DEF) to support Disability based and SGBV survivors, the found will go towards basic needs such as housing, transportation, medication and food.

Promoting gender equality and women’s leadership through training, mentorship, and awareness-raising campaigns.

Facilitating access to education and skills development for young women, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Advocating for disability rights and inclusive policies at local and national levels through partnerships and community engagement.

Collaborating with local authorities, civil society, and international partners to build capacity and implement sustainable programs.

Our organisation is governed by a dedicated team of professionals with experience in disability advocacy, community development, education, and project management. We maintain transparent governance and accountability mechanisms to ensure effective use of resources and impactful results.
