Alytus Business Advisory Center (Alytus BASC) PIC number: 948577648, is the first Business Advisory Center in Lithuania, registered in 13‘th of May, 1993 as a non-profit organization, later re-registered into a public institution.
The centre was established by 16 incorporators, local businessmen, with assistance of the EU PHARE Programme and the Government. Alytus is Economic Centre of South Lithuania.
Mission – to promote and develop small and medium size business in Alytus region through:
- Business training, consulting and information;
- Attracting support from EU fund and international programs;
- Integration of Youth to market and to business;
- Regional and international cooperation development.
Services offered by Alytus Business Advisory Center:
- Consulting on accountancy related issues;
- Establishment of individual enterprise, joint stock companies, public institutions and others companies and organizations;
- Reorganization and reformation of companies;
- Preparing business plans and projects;
- Consulting on preparing of EU SF projects;
- Instructions of offices functions;
- Company‘s work instructions, filling documents;
- Creation and observation of WEB pages, renovation of information in WEB page: www.medienospartneriai.lt, www.alytus-suwalki.eu; www.e-cooperation.lt and www.avkc.lt;
- Seminars on accountancy, labour laws and other company management issues;
- Trainings of bookkeeping and taxes baries, management, business planing, marketing.

Alytus Business Advisory Centre is initiator of Alytus Land Businessmen Association (1995) and (2008) Alytus Region Bookkeeping Association. Participant of Alytus Regional Development Strategy, and initiator of developing collaboration in the sphere of regional development economy supporting with regional and business institutions from Jonkomping County (Sweden), Poland, Denmark, Hungary, Turkey and Italy business development agencies and institutions, as well like the Republic of Lithuanian agencies „Invest in Lithuania“, Alytus city, Alytus district, Lazdijai, Varėna, Druskininkai municipalities and associated structures and Vilnius Chamber‘s of Commerce.

From 2000 untill 2015 Alytus Business Advisory Centre has won and implemented more than 30 International projects financed by the EU on business support and collaboration.
