1. Digitas 24 is founded by people who are professionally and personally interested in the problem of inequality in the field of digital, cultural and media accessibility. Their everyday experiences lead them to conclude that the problem of these types of accessibility is not adequately tackled, not only in this part of Europe, but also on a global scale. They have come to realize that prejudice is one of the greatest obstacles in the way of a complete social integration of visually and hearing impaired persons, or persons with any other type of disability. This leads to, complete or partial lack of access to the media, cultural and /or internet contents. Thus the founders of this organization have decided not only to advocate equal accessibility for everyone, but also to invest effort in achieving a better ground for application of standards of visual and digital accessibility. They strive to obtain the right for ICT accessibility, as well as equal access to media, cultural and digital contents. One of the goals of this organization is to facilitate the education of the general population and to improve participation of visually and hearing impaired people and people with any other type of disability, in every aspect of community life, by way of using available digital technologies.
