Dias Media Group was founded in 1976 and it is the largest media group in Cyprus, entertaining and informing on a daily basis its hundreds of thousands of viewers, readers, listeners, and internet users via electronic and printed media.

At the same time, Dias established a commercial partnership agreement with the licensed company Sigma Radio TV Public Ltd and founded Sigmalive Ltd, the first and biggest online portal in Cyprus (http://www.sigmalive.com/).

The EU projects department:
A well-established department operating in the heart of DIAS striving for innovation, excellence, and trust. The department was founded more than 10 years ago and successfully implemented more than 25 projects, being Project Managers, Dissemination Partners, Communication Experts, and Content Providers. The Group has been involved in several projects under the programmes Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, FP6, FP7, Life+, Leonardο DaVinci, and has implemented projects under funds available from international organizations such as USAID/UNDP, European Parliament, etc with excellent results.

The European projects departments of Dias have worked on various projects in need of communication campaigns, some focusing on migration, integration of Third-country nationals in Cyprus, culture, environment, entrepreneurship, competitiveness, technological development, and ICT. Additionally, the department implemented many awareness campaigns to promote specific EU policies (e.g. the CAP), social phenomena such as the reduction of food waste, and campaigns to prevent domestic violence, drugs, etc. It was also involved in multidisciplinary projects of regional, local and cross-border cooperation, reconciliation and peacebuilding.

Dias Media Group has experience in creating platforms and online tools in the context of many EU-funded projects around various subjects. By using all their media mediums the department is able to have a maximum outreach on a National but also European/International level. Being also active in the sector of training, it participates in EU-funded projects aiming to create educational material and offering training opportunities to the general public or specific target groups.
