Department for Family, Youth and Sports Kharkiv City Council

The Department For Family, Youth and Sports of the Kharkiv City Council is a local government authority aimed at fulfilling and implementing youth, family and gender policy, physical culture and sports in the City of Kharkiv. The organizational structure of the Department includes: the Office for Family and Youth Affairs; the Office of investment development and brand projects; Office of Physical Culture and Sports; Office for sports management and marketing; 9 committees in 9 city districts on affairs of family, youth and sports. A number of communal institutions and enterprises are subordinated to the Department, and one of them is the municipal institution «Kharkiv City Youth Leisure Center». The Department has significant experience in implementing activities and campaigns for families, youth and women within the framework of state and local programs and with extensive interaction with non-governmental organizations. At the initiative of the Department and Youth Council in 2018 public projects will be supported by the Public Budget (participation budget). The total budget is up to UAH 50 million. The administration of the Public Budget implementation procedure will be carried out by the Division for Youth Affairs Department for Family, Youth and Sports Kharkiv City Council. http://www.city.kharkov.ua/ru/
