Denizli Governorship

The Denizli Governorship is the highest public authority within the administrative structure of the Republic of Türkiye, playing a key coordinating role among public institutions, local authorities, and civil society organizations. Particularly in the field of youth policies, it carries out sustainable and inclusive initiatives in social, cultural, and educational domains, assuming a strategic role in supporting the personal and social development of young people.

Denizli is a dynamic city with an active youth population of approximately 140,000 young people. Youth-oriented activities are implemented through 8 different Youth Centers operating across the city. These centers host numerous local, national, and international projects aimed at strengthening young people’s personal development, social participation, volunteerism, and active citizenship.

Youth work in Denizli is guided by the principles of inclusiveness, accessibility, and sustainability, with projects aligned with European youth policies. In this context, the Denizli Governorship is open to activities under European Union youth programmes, including KA-152, KA-154, KA-153, and KA-182, and possesses the institutional capacity and implementation experience required for such actions.

The Denizli Governorship is fully open to all forms of cooperation, mobility activities, and project partnerships in the field of youth at both national and international levels. It is prepared to collaborate with public institutions, civil society organizations, and international stakeholders.
