D64 – Center for Digital Progress

D64 is a non-profit, non-partisan, independent association founded in 2011. With 750 members, we are the largest civil society association for digital policy in the DACH region.

D64 is the Center for Digital Progress. We see the digital transformation as a great opportunity to improve the way we live together and make societies more just, equal, and free. We want to constructively, critically, and creatively challenge and shape social, ecological, technological, and political developments.

In 2025, we published the Democratic AI Code of Conduct, which has since been signed by over 150 organisations: https://demokratische-ki.de/en/. We welcome collaborations in the areas of ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI), data protection and digital rights.
