About Us

Culturewise Youth is an emerging international nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing young people to collaborate across cultures and contribute to solutions for shared global challenges. We believe that many of the most pressing issues facing the next generation—including climate change, ecological degradation, migration, inequality, conflict, and social fragmentation—cannot be effectively addressed in isolation. They require young people who are able to communicate across differences, understand diverse perspectives, and work together toward common goals.

Our mission is to create meaningful opportunities for youth from different cultural, geographic, and socioeconomic backgrounds to learn with and from one another through intercultural exchange, dialogue, storytelling, and collaborative action.

What We Do

Culturewise Youth develops educational programs and youth exchanges that connect young people across regions of the world, with a particular focus on communities that are often underrepresented in global conversations.

Our work includes:

Digital intercultural exchange programs connecting youth across continents
Youth-led storytelling and media initiatives
Global Youth Correspondents and youth ambassador programs
Cross-cultural educational content and curriculum development
Teacher and facilitator training
Community-based learning projects
Partnerships between schools, youth organizations, and local communities
Initiatives that promote empathy, critical thinking, communication skills, and global citizenship
Current Focus

Our initial pilot work focuses on building long-term educational partnerships between schools and communities in Europe and Dogon Country, Mali.

Through these partnerships, students engage in:

Facilitated intercultural dialogue
Storytelling and cultural exchange
Collaborative projects
Language and communication practice
Exploration of shared global challenges through local perspectives
Digital media creation and youth journalism

We are particularly interested in creating opportunities for young people who may have limited access to international mobility programs, allowing them to participate in meaningful international exchange regardless of geography or economic circumstance.
