Cultivate Cornwall

Cultivate Cornwall is a Community Interest Company.

We have formed to help bring communities together with events and in fun creative ways.
We work within education by providing free books to children and also delivering digital courses to all ages.
We help break down barriers with mobility and travel throughout Europe with Erasmus + and partner programs.
Aims of our organization are:
- To contribute to social, cultural, artistic and educational development of youth.
- To increase and share knowledge
- To find international partners to work with
- To create content that educates, informs and inspires
- To inspire and empower young people through community work.
- To create events that will bring the community together
- To help young people organise and run public events in fun creative ways.
- To help young people to become more entrepreneurial
- To promote a healthy lifestyle among young people through food with a future and incredible edible program.

Activities of our organization are:
- To organize meetings and events for young people.
- To raise the standard to education of young people through workshops and personal development.
- To run cultural and historical activities
- To organization of social events and educational activities
- To work with young people and help with mobility local, regional and international through Erasmus+ and volunteering programs.
- To skill share with other organizations and youth groups.
- To explore ideas on healthy lifestyles and eating through growing foods and fresh cooking of what has been grown.

Our target groups are mainly young people with fewer opportunities, we also work with other youth trainers in the region.

Cultivate Cornwall has the experience in organising different educational youth projects and we actively work with youth groups to help set up and run events during each year.

Cultivate Cornwall organise local activities and events such as Out Door Cinemas, free Digital Training sessions, book clubs, documentary screenings, international food and dance events and entrepreneurial training sessions. We also are involved in the collection of tents, clothes, blankets and shoes for refugees.

Cultivate Cornwall is a partner with Incredible Edible Bodmin and has been set up to educate the community, particularly young people on how to grow food. This involves working with the local government / council and taking over disused areas in the town and growing vegetables and fruit trees for all to eat and benefit from.

Cultivate Cornwall has set up Snickets Book Emporium with the ain to encourage primary school aged children to take a more active interest in reading and education. We deliver free books to children through local partnering youth organisations and set up book clubs and book swaps. We also deliver story telling for children at festivals and carnivals in the region.
