Cremona Municipality, Projects and Resources Service implement and promote opportunities for young citizens with special attention to participation activities. Is in charge of planning, presenting, managing, coordinating and implementing every project of European Solidarity Corps (LEAD sending and hosting organization), managing and coordinating information and guidance activities concerning ESC. It carries out other projects with different departments of the municipality in order to reinforce in young people the sense of belonging to European identity, mutual knowledge and comprehension, integration and active citizenship and, in the departments, to foster learning and development of good practices in organization and development of work. The seats where you can participate to a project of European Solidarity Corps are: Informagiovani Service : its task is informing and supporting young people in the sector of training, work, culture, free time, voluntary work and international mobility. It is specialized in promoting and using information and communication tools (data bases, social media and web tools). It is the leader of a provincial network with 10 information points on the territory. It organizes events and information paths, guidance and counselling activities for active job search. Centro Fumetto Andrea Pazienza (Andrea Pazienza Comics Centre - Culture, Museums and City Branding Department): it is in charge of the promotion and management of the books contained in its library, that is one of the biggest specialized libraries in Italy (opened 30 years ago), it organizes workshops and other training courses, events, exhibitions and publications for the promotion and dissemination of comics. It is part of the Library System of Cremona. Projects and Resources Office (General Secretary Department): it coordinates all the projects of the municipality at local, regional and European level in public and private sectors. It coordinates and manages all the participation and active citizenship projects (national and regional civic service etc.) and, every year, it supports more than 150 young people in participating to these important opportunities that contribute to their growth.Intercultural Centre Mondinsieme (Social Policies Department); its tasks are: information and guidance for foreign and Italian citizens, for public administrations and associations of the third sector about the themes of immigration, citizenship and services; support and guidance to associations of immigrants for the development of projects; dissemination of information about the intercultural initiatives and news about immigration and inclusion; project's drafting and participation to national and European call for proposals; monitoring of the territory and organization of specific activities to improve "inclusion" of foreign citizens; promotion of intercultural and inter-religious dialogue; implementation of projects concerning cooperation and co-development together with some immigrants' associations. The direct beneficiaries of the services listed here above are young people from18 to 30 years old, but also the adults who are their point of reference (families, teachers, educators and volunteers).
