CreActive

CreActive is a non-governmental and non-profit organization that was established in order to meet the needs of youth and youth workers and help them participate actively in local communities, bring them closer to the ideas of local, regional, national and international youth initiatives. It was established to help teachers, trainers, youth workers to understand the importance and benefits of non formal learning, to benefit through learning and teaching through non-conventional methods such as arts, music, photography etc., to support art and initiatives of local artists and creators. CreActive is a relatively young organization (established in 2020) which works with local schools, associations, institutions and what is most important with local youth especially the ones who are facing fewer opportunities. The association was created and formed by youth workers, teachers, educators and project managers with the experience of non formal learning, who volunteered in different NGOs before, participated in national and international projects gaining their competences through formal and non-formal learning, active participation in societies and different kind of projects.
CreActive has set main objectives around supporting education and cultural development of youth and youth workers, helping local society to support intercultural spirit, tolerance and dialogue, supporting and promoting local connections, supporting cultural and social events, promoting and implementing non formal ways of learning by organizing workshops, meetings, panels and support groups for youth workers, promoting local culture and arts, supporting local teachers and youth workers and coordinating and helping to organize afterschool activities for local youth.

The organization aims to widen youth interest in democracy, culture, healthy living, intercultural communication, volunteering and wide understanding of arts in order to help them becoming counscious European citizens and participants of youth initiatives in local, national and international community.
