COSP Verona

COSP can be defined as an innovative model of integration between agencies, departments, bodies and a set of services provided within the educational and training system. The headquarter of COSP is located in Verona (Italy) since 1990 and it has always been involved in a great number of projects for the school and professional guidance of children, adolescents, students and their families, trainers and adults. In doing so, COSP combines together economic bodies, employer associations, labour unions, agencies specialized in school and professional guidance, club services and other actors that constitute a well-structured local network of 70 members. These partners support the extensive set of activities carried out by COSP through economic and human resources and the transmission of know-how. Moreover, these members acknowledge the super-partes role of COSP and its valuable effort to bring together a variety of interests and entities that would be otherwise set apart. Moreover, it is a non-profit association that provides activities of consultancy and training and it is focused on the development of projects concerning school and professional guidance and counselling. In this regard, COSP provides a set of services in order to meet the needs of those people who are in need of a high-quality educational and professional guidance, so as to guarantee a better and more effective connection between the educational sphere and the labour market. Our policy and activities are perfectly in line with the lifelong guidance, that aims to provide career development support for individuals of all ages, at all career stages. In this respect, COSP has always addressed needs and issues raised and encountered by a set of target beneficiaries, from students to their families, youth and adults, trainers and teachers. Since its very beginning, it has been implementing a project named Itinera which has addressed certain needs that usually affect students in their decision over their future: for instance, whether to keep studying at the tertiary level or enter in the labour market after finishing the secondary school.
