Cooperativa Terre Solidali Sociale

Terre Solidali Sociale Cooperative continued its reception activities for applicants for international protection also in 2024, under an agreement with the Prefecture of Rimini, by renting several facilities in the vicinity of Rimini. Addressing local housing needs – Housing Help Project

The Housing Help Project addresses the housing needs of immigrants in the province of Rimini, with particular focus on non-EU nationals. The project promotes shared living arrangements in housing units rented in the name of Terre Solidali Sociale Cooperative (TSS), which acts as guarantor and intermediary.

Rental payments to property owners are ensured through lease agreements signed directly with the cooperative, which guarantees timely payment of rent. From 2016 to date, the cooperative has managed five apartments and accommodated more than 50 people.

In 2024, in order to expand the project, the cooperative identified an apartment for purchase and initiated procedures with its bank (Banca Popolare Etica) to secure a mortgage for the acquisition of a property in Rimini.
