Cooperativa Sociale OpportunEuropa

OpportunEuropa is a social cooperative/non-profit organization that operates in the whole region of Sardinia (Italy) for the promotion of community best practices and the development of actions/projects aimed to strengthen groups, organizations and individuals by reinforcing local institutions and systems. It pursues public welfare interests through actions of prevention and reduction of poverty, sickness, marginalization and social exclusion.

OpportunEuropa’s main areas of focus are young people; discomfort in its various forms; active labor market policies; promotion of business start-ups and entrepreneurship. It promotes the creation of sustainable territorial and transnational networks for the exchange, development and dissemination of good practices and experiences, and acquisition of new skills and knowledge. It promotes, as well, the building of long-term partnerships with whom undertaking medium to long term projects.

OpportunEuropa focus its attention on Europe as the ideal “location” for developing new collaborative synergies, ideas and plans: It aims at building a sense of inclusive community and responsibility through risk prevention and protection approaches and projects. In order to realize its targets OpportunEuropa takes advantage of a wide variety of funding opportunities: public and private, regional and national, direct and indirect EU supports currently available.
