Cooperativa Piccolo Principe

Cooperativa Piccolo Principe, was founded in 2005 by professional psychosocial counsellors - certified Transactional Analysts. The mission of the cooperative is: to start psychosocial pathways for self-determination of children, youth, adults, seniors in the phases of personal change and role; to increase personal and professional development and skills in educational, health and social and labor fields; to develop practices of social dialogue between different cultures and generations, carriers of different needs.
Our mission results in different actions:
1. We realize guidance and counseling activities for individuals and groups for all aged people, building psychosocial pathways tailored on the person or on the group’s needs and objectives.
2. We take care of the well-being of healthy elderly people by implementing activities aiming at the maintenance of their higher independence level. Moreover, we have planned different interventions and services in order to sustain also those old people that have decreased in self-sufficiency and their care-givers (relative or other people regularly looking after them).
3. We carry on interventions on “Education to Legality” and orientation for the continuation of the schooling for 11-14 years old students, in order to help them choose the most suitable high school to attend.
4. Through European and local employment programs (Youth Guarantee and “Dote Unica Lavoro”) we offer different services for young and adult unoccupied people in order to support and, sometimes, sponsor their job tutoring and placement.
5. We organize vocational education courses addressed to professional care givers on health, social, legal matters and subjects, collaborating with employment agencies in compliance with the Lombardy Region training standards.

Through SALTO we look for partners in order to present project proposals in line with our sectors of expertise.
