Constellation Korostiv

«Constellation K» has been founded in spring 2019. Our aim is to develop rural areas in Ukraine, especially our village - Korostiv. We are located in rural area of Carpathian Mountains, in region of lower economic and geographic possibilities. Through our activity we want to develop local community, implement best European practices, show youth broader world perspective, improve ecological situation.

We started from 2 persons in 2019, and now our team consist of 34 active participants of different age (from 14 to 72 years old) and specialties. There are graduates of psychology, economy, technical engineering, pupils and students among us. Some members have experience in organizing and participating in international youth exchanges, others used to work with youth for decades, as cultural workers, teachers and trainers. We are quite new as a team, but we are strongly motivated to develop our village and rural areas in Ukraine.

Our activities are primary directed to citizens of rural area in mauntain region. We work with all age categories, but pay special attention to children and youth. This year we organized
- village picnic, which integrated all citizens of Korostiv;
- ecological and self-development summer camp for youth from few local villages;
- weekly board-gaming meeting for youth;
- monthly lectures in socially important themes for adults.
