CONSELL DE LA JOVENTUT DE VALÈNCIA- VALENCIAN YOUTH COUNCIL

The Youth Council of Valencia (CJV) is the representative body and coordinator of the associations and youth organizations in the city of Valencia. The main objective is the promotion of youth participation in political, social, economic and cultural topics in Valencia. It has its origin in the agreement of youth associations interested in creating a framework that makes possible a whole act as interlocutors in front of the local authorities, and this is its main function.

Our main purposes are:
- To promote and ensure the participation of youth in political, social and cultural topics, especially on issues that directly affect them, helping the full development of young people and their inclusion in public life.
- To encourage youth associations, stimulating the creation and development of associations, providing support assistance
- To promote the knowledge of our culture, history and language.
- The spread among young people the values of freedom, peace and human rights.
- To participate in a public advisory bodies to be established to study the issue of youth in the area of Valencia.
