The Partner-Finding Tool
Cáceres Youth Local Council is the platform to make social, cultural and political local concerns of young people heard, specially those aspects which affect them in a direct way. This is how we help to the full development of the young community and to the full incorporation to them to the citizen life. Its main goals are: reinforcing young participation into the political, social, economical and cultural development of the town; promoting young associationism; facilitating communication among the associations belonging to it; encouraging participation, unity, solidarity, life in common, respect and peace among all society members; defending youth’s interests and rights.
Among its functions, the council is interlocutor on behalf of young communities before the administration and other public and private entities in youth issues.
It is also a Youth Municipal Institute advisory body, even able to issue reports about youth matters. Furthermore, it delivers information that may be relevant to Cáceres young people and promotes activities, exchanges and learning courses to its members.
The Local Council carries out activities especially designed to support and defend Cáceres associative groups, such as giving reports about youth and associanism, learning courses and workshops, information campaigns, youth fairs... We work very closed to the Cáceres City Hall, with every youth organization and other platforms similar to us.
